TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Terms & Conditions below apply to all bookings made on our website.

CHOOSING YOUR TRAVEL

We hope that your experience will exceed your expectations, so it is very important that you choose the right travel. It goes without saying that our staff is always happy to help and to give you their professional opinion.

1. The contract

By booking a travel with us you confirm that you accept and understand – on behalf of yourself and all members of your party – our terms and conditions as well as the details, which are part of the travel. You are responsible for entering the correct information on the booking form. Your booking will be confirmed with the invoice that will be sent to you. The invoice will also be the confirmation of your travel.

2. Paying for the travel

After booking a travel online, we will send you confirmation via email. If, due to special circumstances, a transfer needs to be made manually, the customer can do so to the following banking detail:

IBAN: NL30 INGB 00076791 64

Swift Code / BIC: INGBNL2A

Beneficiary Company: Blueprint Travels

Beneficiary bank: ING Bank

Please be sure to put your booking number as as reference. If no payment has come trough within 7 days after receiving the booking confirmation, Blueprint Travels is allowed to either send a reminder, stating a deadline by which the payment must be made, or to cancel the contract. After the specified time limit runs out the customer is liable for the relevant cancellation fees.

3. Prices and contractual contents

The latest prices and descriptions of our products are on our website www.blueprint-travels.com . All other publications are not valid.

4. Cancellation of the travel – Changes or additions to your travel

If you want to change to a different travel (by date or destination) after the invoice has been issued, you will need to pay an administration fee of €110 per person. This fee is exclusive of any additional costs associated with this change.

Cancellation of your travel

If you or your party member decides to cancel the travel you must notify us by email to info@blueprint.com of the decision as soon as possible. Any changes to your booking (e.g. cancellations) must be communicated to Blueprint Travels via e-mail by the person who made the original booking, and must be sent from the same email address for which the booking was made. Cancellation will take effect from the day we are notified by email. A cancellation invoice will be sent to you within 14 days of us receiving your confirmation by email. If you do not receive this cancellation invoice within 14 days, please contact us immediately in order to prevent an increase in charges. Simply not paying your invoice does not act as a notification of your intent to cancel.

Cancellation fees:

* Up to 42 days before departure: 25% (of the total travel cost)

* 41 – 28 days before departure: 60% (of the total travel cost)

* 27 – 7 days before departure: 90% (of the total travel cost)

* Less than 7 days before departure: 100% (of the total travel cost)

Cancellation of your travel before departure

Our travels have guaranteed departures from as few as six or more people but this can also mean that the minimum group size is just six people. Nonetheless, the size of a group is not a valid reason for the traveler to cancel the travel without cost. We guarantee you to be able to provide you with all the services confirmed at the time of booking. We plan arrangements for your travel meticulously and long time in advance. On occasions, changes do have to be made and we reserve the right to make these. Most of these changes are minor. However, if we consider them to be significant, we will endeavor to advise you as soon as is reasonably possible. A significant change includes a change of itinerary of more than two days or a change of transport during an important stretch of the travel.

Whilst every effort is made to operate a travel as advertised, on occasion it may be necessary to make changes to the accommodation, routing or order of an itinerary.

Changes due to circumstances beyond our control

We will not be liable to pay any compensation if we are forced to cancel or in any way change your travel as a result of unusual or unforeseeable situations outside our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with all due care. These include unavoidable technical problems with transport, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline, the alteration of the airline or aircraft type, war or threat of war, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disaster, bad weather, epidemic or terrorist activity.

If we cancel your travel

We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel for any reason. However, we will not cancel your travel unless it is for a reason outside our control (see changes due to circumstances beyond our control). If your travel is unexpectedly cancelled, we will let you know at least three weeks prior to departure. If we have to cancel your travel we will offer you:

(a) alternative travel arrangements of equivalent or of very closely similar standard and price, if available.

(b) travel arrangements of a lower standard and a refund of the difference in price; or

(c) a full refund of all monies paid; this will take approximately 5 working days.

5. Insurance

It is important that you have insurance cover which is tailored to your needs. Insurance covering medical costs, including the cost of medical repatriation is mandatory. You will need to arrange a policy yourself. Please check carefully to ensure that it provides a sufficient level of cover. For those who participate in sports and activities whilst on tour that have been organized and arranged independently of Blueprint Travels, it should be understood that participation is at the individual’s own risk and it is your responsibility to obtain the relevant insurance. We also strongly recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance.

6. General requirements / Passports Visas / Health

You have to arrange your own visa(s): the cost is not included in the travel fees. You are responsible for ensuring that your passport is valid and that you take it with you, also that you take the necessary travel information with you, have the vaccinations and insurance that you need and that you respect the laws, exchange control and customs regulations of the country you are visiting. Complications arising from your failure to respect these rules have to be resolved by yourself and any fees incurred as a result must to be paid by the customer.

By booking, you confirm that you and your party are in good health with no medical history that would make it dangerous to participate in the travel.

We will only accept responsibility for personal injury where it is caused by our negligence or the negligence of our suppliers and we do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to property.

7. Our commitment for your travel arrangements

Blueprint Travels undertakes the following tasks and responsibilities: a thorough travel preparation, a careful selection and monitoring of those rendering a service, the correctness of the service descriptions on the website www.blueprint-travels.com and the provision of the contractually agreed services.

The traveler undertakes the following activities at his / her own risk and is fully liable for any injury or damage caused: walking and hill climbing, boating tours, voluntary trips, sporting activities and participating in any potentially high-risk adventure activities. Blueprint is only liable in case of intentional and / or gross negligence.

The liability for contractual damages which are not bodily harm is limited to the sum the travel price, as long as Blueprint Travels did not cause the bodily harm of a travel guest intentionally or by gross negligence.

8. Complaints

If you have cause for complaint whilst on tour, you must bring it to the attention of tour operator or local agent immediately. We will do our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

If a problem remains unresolved during your travel, you should write a complaint by email to info@blueprint.com within one month of your return date (the last day of the journey that is mentioned in the contract is the binding date) of the completion of the travel. Please remember to quote your booking reference and daytime telephone number.
